FAQ

Answers for aircraft owners.

What is aircraft ceramic coating and how long does it last?

Aircraft-grade ceramic coating is a hydrophobic nano-ceramic barrier bonded to your paint and brightwork. Ours typically lasts 2–5 years depending on hours flown, wash cycles, and environment. It reduces contamination adhesion, UV oxidation, and cleaning time.

What does paint correction fix?

Multi-stage paint correction removes swirl marks, oxidation, chalking, light scratches, and haze — restoring paint depth and clarity before we seal it with a ceramic coating.

Can you polish brightwork on aluminum leading edges and props?

Yes. We polish aluminum brightwork, leading edges, prop spinners, and un-coated aluminum panels to a mirror finish using aviation-approved compounds.

How far in advance should I schedule?

For full details and ceramic coatings, we recommend 1–3 weeks lead time. Recurring maintenance customers get priority scheduling.

How long does a typical job take?

A wash and interior takes 3–5 hours. Full detail runs a day. Ceramic coating with paint correction typically requires 2–4 days depending on aircraft size.

Do you travel to other airports?

Yes — nationwide. We regularly travel for coating jobs, fleet contracts, and pre-purchase details. Travel is quoted per trip.

Are you insured?

Fully insured with aviation-appropriate general liability and hangar-keepers coverage. Certificate of insurance available on request.

How often should I have my aircraft detailed?

For coated aircraft, a maintenance wash every 4–8 weeks preserves the coating. Un-coated aircraft benefit from a monthly wash and quarterly wax.

Do you work inside the hangar or on the ramp?

Both. Hangar work is ideal for coatings and paint correction. Ramp washes and touch-ups can be scheduled between legs.

What payment methods do you accept?

Card, ACH, and check. Fleet and recurring accounts can be invoiced monthly.
